History
Lake Country Overhead Doors Ltd. is a carriage-house style, heritage style and custom wooden overhead garage door manufacturer located in Kelowna, British Columbia. Our company markets 4 specific product lines of flush core, rail & stile, and mortise & tenon construction joinery high quality overhead garage doors. We provide a custom design service to develop unique styles that meet and exceed our customer expectations and requirements.
The design and styles of our products are unique in the industry. We provide a high quality product at a commercially competitive price that will enhance the appearance and the overall value of our customer's home. Our production equipment is specifically designed to meet the needs of our demanding production requirements and tolerances. We use vertical grain fir, hemlock, spruce, pine and cedar for our products, as well as exotic species such as mahogany, oak, and maple for our custom products.
Operation
Lake Country Overhead Doors Ltd. is owned by Bruce Bern, CTech. Bruce has extensive experience in management and production of manufacturing products. Bruce Bern is certified by, and is a member in good standing of, The Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia. He has worked in the industrial, commercial and residential sectors for over 24 years and has experience in mechanical design for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. He also has experience with equipment and material selections, coordination of mechanical and piping designs, and coordination with project service design groups. An expert in computer-aided design, he is well versed in AutoCAD, Microstation, PASCE 3-D modeling and plant design software.
